Our Story

Noble Robin began in a small back garden in Putney. What started as a passion project helping neighbours with their outdoor spaces grew into a team of dedicated horticulturalists serving gardens across Greater London.

The name comes from a robin that visited our founder's first project every morning without fail, a constant companion through months of transformation. That robin reminded us that gardens are living ecosystems, not just arrangements of plants. They should welcome wildlife, respond to seasons, and feel genuinely alive.

Today, we bring that same philosophy to every garden we touch. We do not just maintain outdoor spaces; we nurture them. We watch how light moves across beds, notice when a plant is struggling before it becomes obvious, and understand that the best gardens evolve over years, not weeks.

What Guides Our Work

Principles that shape every garden we care for.

☘

Sustainable Practice

We prioritise peat-free composts, organic pest control where possible, and plant selections that support pollinators. Every garden can contribute to urban biodiversity.

⚑

Honest Communication

We will tell you if a plant will not thrive in your conditions, if a design idea will not work long-term, or if your budget would be better spent differently.

☂

Long-Term Thinking

We plan gardens that will look better in five years than they do today. Immediate impact matters, but so does how a space matures and develops character.

✿

Attention to Detail

The difference between adequate and excellent garden care lies in small things: a clean cut, a tidy edge, noticing the aphids before they spread. We care about these details.

Our Team

Our gardeners come from varied backgrounds: trained horticulturalists, former landscape architects, botanic garden professionals, and career changers who discovered a calling in the soil. What unites them is genuine enthusiasm for plants and outdoor spaces.

We invest heavily in ongoing training. Our team members hold qualifications in arboriculture, pesticide application, and specialist pruning. Several have completed the Royal Horticultural Society's professional qualifications. But beyond certificates, we value the accumulated wisdom that only comes from hands-on experience across hundreds of London gardens.

When you work with Noble Robin, you will see familiar faces. We do not send whoever is available; we assign teams who know your garden and remember it between visits.

Areas We Serve

Covering gardens across Greater London, with particular focus on South West and West London.

South West London

Our original territory and where most of our team lives. We serve Putney, Wandsworth, Fulham, Chelsea, Wimbledon, Richmond, Kingston, and surrounding areas. Response times are fastest in this zone, and we have extensive experience with the specific soil types and microclimates of the Thames corridor.

Wider London

We take on projects across Greater London when garden size or project scope warrants travel. Regular maintenance clients outside South West London benefit from grouped scheduling to keep visits efficient. Please enquire about availability in your area.
